A few short notes about some of our other classmates:
Kim writes: “James I have been married for 27 years and I have been the attorney for the Williams County Child Support Enforcement Agency in Bryan, Ohio since November 1993.”
Kim and James have two children, Jaclyn (18) and Logan (14).
Margaret Bertram Hayes
Margaret and Chris have been married 25 years and have four children, Emily (19), Ally (16), Annie Grace (13), and Lilly (10). They live in Greenville, Ohio.
Margaret has been in private practice for 25 years, concentrating in real estate and probate, and also served for 5 years as an assistant prosecutor.
Eric currently represents the 9th Senate District in the Ohio General Assembly. Senator Kearney was first appointed to the legislature in 2005, has been re-elected four times since, and will leave office in January of 2015 on account of being term-limited. He has been Senate Minority Leader since January of 2012.
Eric and his wife Jan Michelle Lemon Kearney have two children, daughter Emerson and son Asher.
Suzanne Lough Wynn
Sam is a sole practitioner whose office is located just south of Eaton. His son plays football, baseball, and basketball, which means Sam has done a lot of youth-league coaching.
Bonnie is a partner at Dinsmore & Shohl, where she practices in the tax and estate planning area.
Linda is a partner at Ulmer & Berne, working on complex litigation and regulatory compliance matters in the health care field.
Shawn is a trial lawyer in the firm of Organ Stock + Cole in Columbus. As you may have guessed, he’s one of the founding partners. He’s also an adjunct professor at OSU’s law school.
Geri Hernandez Geiler
Geri lives in
Delaware Cincinnati, where she is a geography teacher in-house counsel for Macy’s. She has three daughters, Chloe (20), Sofia (17), and Isabella (13).
Melissa is a partner with McClelland & Anderson in Lansing, Michigan. Her practice concentrates in construction, employment, and commercial litigation.
Patty is of counsel to Keating Muething & Klekamp, where she practices intellectual property law. Her clients include Procter & Gamble and Cintas. She’s also done some teaching at our old law school and at the College of Mount Saint Joseph.
Andy is a partner in the firm of Frantz Ward in Cleveland, where he heads up the construction law group. Here he is talking shop to the Construction Employers Association last year:
To no one’s surprise, Rich went into the family business and is now the CEO of Graeter’s. On his watch, the company has expanded with a new factory, franchised stores, and online shopping. He’s appeared on the Food Network a time or two, being interviewed about (you guessed it!) Graeter’s ice cream. Is that cool, or what?
