I’ve been blessed with a beautiful wife, Patti, and four wonderful children. Until recently, Patti owned her own court reporting agency. Now she is associated with a reporting firm in Dayton and enjoying a less stressful life without a lot of the administrative hassles. Our oldest child, Emily (23), is attending nursing school at UC and working part-time as a nurse’s aide in a nursing home in Kenwood, Ohio. Tyler (22) just graduated from Kenyon College in the spring and is attending UC Law and the Business School striving for a JD/MBA degree. T.J. (21) is a junior at Miami University in Oxford studying business, and Nick (11) is entering 6th grade at Guardian Angels School. Evervone is healthy so I can’t complain.
Professionally, after graduation. I practiced law with a mid-sized firm in Cincinnati for 24 years. I was an equity partner. a member of the firm’s litigation department, trying lots of cases, and on the firm’s billing committee. However, after so many years I needed a change. In January of 2013. I decided to leave the downtown firm to start mv own firm with four of my partners. We have three suites in the Lincoln School building on Delta A venue, and having a blast practicing law in the suburbs. I wish l would have done this years ago!
ln addition. for the last 17 years I have also been an Adjunct Professor at UC Law teaching trial practice.
