I am Assistant General Counsel at Luxottica Retail in Mason OH, specializing in real estate. Luxottica is an Italian manufacturer, wholesaler and retailer of eyeglass frames and sunglasses under brand names such as Ray Ban and Oakley. The retail division operates over 4000 Lenscrafters, Sunglass Hut, Oakley, Pearle Vision, Sears Optical and Target Optical stores in North America. We manage the real estate portfolio, and handle a variety of other commercial matters.
The “fun” part of my job for many years has been my involvement with OneSight, a charity founded by Lenscrafters that provides free vision care and glasses to people in need in the U.S. and in developing countries. I recently retired from OneSight’s board of directors after serving as President for 3 years. I have participated in 14 vision care clinics with OneSight in places such as Paraguay, Ghana, Mexico and Thailand, as well as here at home. I also serve on committees with the YWCA and the Women’s Fund of the Greater Cincinnati Foundation, and founded a women’s employee resource group, Luxottica Women of Vision at work.
Chris and I have been married for 17 years. He is the Sales Vice President for Star One Realtors in Montgomery. We spend most of our time on, or driving to or from, various sports fields. Abbie will be a sophomore at Loveland High School next year, and plays soccer for her school and with Club Ohio. Nick is a rising 8th grader and lacrosse player.
I still meet the law school girls in Columbus every year for our annual “Muck Fichigan” weekend-Kandy, Geri, Elizabeth, Margaret and Sue Ellen, all of whom are still as young and gorgeous as you remember them!
