We hope those of you coming from out of town will make a weekend of it in the ‘Nati! Here are some suggestions of things going on that weekend, plus other cool places to visit while you’re back in town:

Horseshoe Casino: In case you are having difficulties separating yourself from your money. Also several good restaurants in here, check out Bobby Flay’s Bobby’s Burger Palace or Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville Café. Free parking. http://www.horseshoecincinnati.com/

Washington Park: Over the Rhine is experiencing a huge revitalization the last couple of years, much of which surrounds this park, located across from Music Hall. Check out Taste of Belgium for chicken and waffles, The Senate for gourmet hot dogs, and Holtman’s Donuts! http://washingtonpark.org/

Cincinnati Museum Center at Union Terminal: is still hosting the traveling Princess Diana exhibition, “Diana, a Celebration,” among all of its amazing other regular offerings. http://www.cincymuseum.org/

Cincinnati Zoo: Still one of the best in the country; definitely worth a trip if you haven’t been in a few years.  Their new Africa exhibit, Giraffe Ridge, and the racing cheetahs are a blast! http://cincinnatizoo.org/
