The Tao of Dau-Schmidt

Labor Law II, Spring 1988

Dau-SchmidtProfessor Dau-Schmidt was easygoing, laid back, an entertaining lecturer with an air of John-Boy Walton about him–which meant that nobody was prepared for the soul-crushing brutality of his three-hour essay exam.  After we staggered out of the classroom, Jeff Fossett and “Billness” Werner invited me to go golfing as a way of recovering our sanity.

We will not discuss our golf scores from that day.
